The SS ECO is the most popular of our product line, dominating the skid steer market for mulching attachments. The price is a winning feature of this product. Another unique feature of this mulching attachment is the operator can see the cutting teeth en-gaging the material as you mulch, allowing the operator to guide the material to the top of the cutting disc. This allows the operator to see foreign debris, materials, rocks and wires preventing them from entering the mulching attachment.This Concept triples production, and reduces maintenance costs to a fraction of what a standard drum style mulcher, with a better price point to start with.

EASE OF MAINTENANCE

There are no belts, pulleys or shivs; our systems are direct drive, the power goes directly into a bearing box transferring 100% of the power to the cutting disc. We have a rubber safety coupler between the hydraulic motor and bearing box to protect from damage.

PERFORMANCE

What makes the SS ECO such an advanced mulching attachment is the unique design of the reduction shroud system, the direct drive system and the 58” diameter 1-1/4” thick cutting disc carries the inertia through the cut The unique reduction shroud design forces the material through the reduction shroud system forcing the material into the fixed cutting teeth. Material less than 5” in diameter is cut and pulled into the reduction shroud system resulting in a one step process.

DRIVE SYSTEM

We utilize a huge 130cc fixed displacement bent axis piston hydraulic motor which is coupled to a 10” rubber drive coupling to isolate the shock load transmitted through the bearing box. Our direct drive bearing box is custom built with crusher style bearings and a heated treated tapered 4” drive shaft. This is all submerged in a oil bathed system with an expansion chamber keep the oil level constant at all times for longer bearing wear. We also utilize a large drive hub mounted to the disc which couples to the taper shaft with a double locking fasting system..The SS Eco attachment comes with 26 beaver teeth. There are 14 teeth on the perimeter of the disc, 8 on top and 4 inside the shroud. The teeth can be rotated and sharpened for longer life.

EXPANDABLE CUTTING TOOTH SYSTEM
Our cutting disc is designed with an expandable cutting tooth system. This allows the operator to configure the cutting disc with whatever is most suitable for the material and ground they are working in. We recommend our standard configuration for operators to get used to operating the attachment with their carrier. More teeth can be added for more aggressive mulching. The disc comes with 20 carbide thumbnail teeth and 40 holders, installed in every other location. The disc is drilled so additional carbide thumbnail teeth and holders can be installed. The cutting edge of the tooth can be on top of the disc, bottom, or top & bottom of disc. Up to 60 additional carbide thumbnail teeth can be added to suit your cutting needs.
